Wilma Lou Parrish

Wilma Lou Parrish, age 83 of Merrillville formerly of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009. She is survived by daughter, Donna Angelo Stath of Merrillville; son, Mikel Nella Parrish of Montana; grandchildren: Marino Stath, Michael Stath, Demetra Schuyler Geller, Shawn Parrish, Chelsea Heath Barnes, Spencer Childress, and Dustin Nickell; 2 great-grandchildren: Angelo Michael Stath and Evan James Geller; son-in-law, Michael Nickell; brother, Gary Fisher of Butler, Missouri; sister, Barbara Pittsenbarger of Liberty, Missouri; best friend, Rose Vlahos; and numerous nieces & nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Parrish and 2 daughters: Sharon Kay Nickell & Deliah Childress. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening, May 13, 2009 at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, Missouri 660-826-8000 on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Joann Keele officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother and her memory will be everlasting for all those who knew and loved her. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church in Sedalia, Missouri.
