WILLIAM T. MORELAND age 71 of Portage Indiana passed away Sunday May 9 2010. He was a loving husband father grandfather and great grandpa. Survived by wife Teddy of 32 years son Travis (Brenda) Moreland of Winamac IN three daughters: Tracie (Kurt) Horvath of Crown Point Tara (Dave) Moore of Calumet City Audrey (Steve) Kendall of Portage four granddaughters: Jayme (John) Schymanoske of Portage Jordan Savannah and Stevie six grandsons: Billy Michael Richie Josh Jacob Cody and Christopher two great grandsons: John and James brother-in-law Don (Kim) Decker LOFS special ones: Amy and Kaitlyn five sisters: Collen Marie Betty Phyllis and Rosetta. Preceded in death by parents Travis and Pearl Moreland sister Maryann. William was a retired supervisor from the Rail Mill Gary Works U.S. Steel with 20 years of service. He was active in Portage Junior Miss Softball for 12 years. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 2700 Willowcreek Road Portage Wednesday May 12 2010 from 2:00 to 7:000 p.m. Funeral services will follow promptly at 7:00 p.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Pastor Tim McGuire officiating. Cremation to follow service. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
