WILLIAM “BILL” POJE, age 88 of of Merrillville, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014. Survived by wife Louise of 61 years and son John Poje. Bill was a faithful member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, a member of K of C Msgr. Joseph S. Ryder Council #4047, a 4th Degree member of Santa Maria Venegas Assembly, and the C.F.U. Lodge #170. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Monday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. with 4th Degree Honor Guard starting at 6:00 P.M., and a K of C Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 DIRECTLY from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (200 E. 78th Ave., Merrillville) at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jon Plavcan officiating. There will be visitation at the church one half hour prior to services. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church
