Susie and Bill just heard and I am sad, sorry and grieved at the loss of your dad. He always made me feel welcome and special in your home and whenever I would see him. Your Dad was an icon to all the other parents in the Band. When Kathy and I were band parents and booster leaders I seriously would remember how your mom and dad were always in the stand or helping us out. Inspiration by example! He now is enjoying the perfect harmony.

Dear Bill, Sue & families - How very sad I am to just learn of your Dad's passing. I've always remembered him as a very loving, involved Dad who was behind you 1000%. Many fond memories of our numerous band trips with your folks remain. I always remember summers at your house and tomato sandwiches, Sue! Our prayers are with you as you go thru this very, very difficult time. Jean & Joe and the Donovan family

Please accept our family's condolences at the loss of a great and generous man. The thoughts and prayers of our family are with Susan, Bill, and all the Thanholt family. We will never forget how helpful to us Bill was at my father's death, or the long drive that Bill made with Bill, Jr. from Indiana to show support at my brother Jim's passing. We remain ever grateful to Bill and to your family for that beautiful and characteristic gesture, and we wish every one of you the very best at this sad time. Thank you, Bill, for all the friendship and the fun you shared with us. I speak for my mother and our whole family in saying that we will miss you deeply. Sincerely, Tom Reynolds

My Uncle was a wonderful man who was a true believer in unconditional love. Many years ago, when I was in a very bad way- he drove through a blizzard in the middle of the night to wire me funds from the nearest Western Union which really saved my life.I think of him now; reunited with his beloved Terese. Farewell Dear Uncle, I will always be grateful to you for your many kindnesses. Your Nephew, John
