WILLARD JACKE. HARRIS age 85 of Crown Point IN passed away Friday March 3 2006. Survived by loving wife of 66 years Yvonne son David (Joyce) Harris of DeMotte daughter Linda (Peter) Moyer of Zionsville IN 4 grandchildren: Scott (Patti) Harris of Valparaiso Melissa Harris of Valparaiso Benjamin Moyer of Indianapolis & Jennifer (Tony) West of Brownsburg IN 2 great-grandchildren: Owen Harris & Emma West sister Evelyn (Don) Davis of Pensacola FL. Preceded in death by son Larry Harris parents Charles & Mina Harris 2 brothers: Charles & Max Harris 2 sisters: Naomi Lou Harris & Norma Lee Harris. Mr. Harris was a charter member of the Ambridge Methodist Church in Gary and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crown Point. He was a retired structural fitter from American Bridge Co. with 40 years of service and a retired custodian from Solan-Robinson Elementary School in Crown Point. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231) Crown Point on Monday from 3-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 7 2006 at 11:00 A.M. from the First United Methodist Church (352 S. Main St. Crown Point) with Rev. Dennis Shock officiating. There will be visitation hour prior to the service at the church. He will be laid to rest Wednesday March 8 2006 at Hoosier Prairie Cemetery in Louisville IL. In lieu flowers memorial are preferred to the First United Methodist Church.
