PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN SERVICE WANDA I. SUCEC (NEE DOLATOWSKI) age 82 of Ogden Dunes passed away Monday May 25 2009. She is survived by loving husband: Joseph Sr. of 62 years two sons: Joseph (Jeanie) Sucec Jr. of Columbus Ohio Jeff (Bernadette) Sucec of Wheaton Il sister: Sylvia (late Lloyd) Richmond of Highland three grandchildren: Jason Sucec Shannon (Joseph) Stahl and Josh Sucec two great grandchildren: Aiyanna and Jaiden Sucec two sisters-in-law: Margaret (Tony) Bumgarner of East Chicago Margie (late Henry) Dolatowski of Hammond. Preceded in death by parents: Frank and Antonia Dolatowski three brothers: Edward Ted and Henry Dolatowski. Wanda was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Church Ogden Dunes Bridge Club (and was the Bridgarama champion) Ogden Dunes Garden Club and Indiana Harbor Womens Club. She was a graduate of East Chicago Washington High School and was an administrative assistant at East Chicago Roosevelt High School. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 2700 Willowcreek Rd. Portage on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday May 29 2009 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY from Nativity of Our Savior Church 2949 Willowcreek Rd. Portage with Rev. David Kime officiating. Visitation 1/2 hour prior to services at church. At rest Calumet Park Mausoleum.

Dear Sucec family While I havent seen you in decades seeing Wandas photo brought it all back. She is just as I remembered her. Jeff as a kid I remember your Mom ringing a triangle or cow bell at lunchtime letting you know it was time to come home. I also see her in the bleachers at your little league games rooting you on. And in the concession stand helping out when they were short-handed. Whenever I saw her there was always a smile on her face. I hope that your memories of your loved one will comfort you along with family and friends. I know this is a difficult time and there will be a void in your hearts forever. Jeff and family My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have many wonderful memories of growing up as a friend of Jeffs in Miller. We had more fun than anyone can imagine and in a great neighborhood. Im sure you have a multitude of great memories of your mom from which to draw peace and comfort from. She seemed like a great lady that I wish I had known better. (Ill always remember the bell!)
