Wallace N. Cubberley, age 91, of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009. Wallace was a member of Emmanual Lutheran Church in Merrillville, M.L. McClelland Masonic Lodge #357 F.&A.M. of Hobart and the Orak Shrine. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen; brothers: Lawrence, Rodman and David Cubberley. Wallace is survived by his nephew, Richard Deborah Cubberley of Westville; special friend, Esther Mandich of Portage; great nieces and nephews: Samuel Cubberley, Danielle Cubberley, Patrick Cubberley, Merridith Cubberley and Christopher Cubberley. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM directly at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 5375 Harrison Street, Merrillville. Reverend Carole Poole officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobart, IN. Friends may visit with the family, Monday, May 4, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville and Tuesday directly at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM. McClelland Lodge service will be Monday at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Emmanuel Lutheral Church in Merrillville.
