My prayers and thoughts of condolences go out to the family. I know that Vernal Ruby Wienland had honored God to have such a wonderful son in Gene. He loves God and raised his family and serves God the best he can. That is a wonderful tribute that any mother can give to her children, to know and respect God.

Patty Brumfield left a message on March 25, 2006:
Iwill miss her dearly, she was a wonderful influence in my life, she taught me her love of sewing and knitting which I still enjoy to this day. She was the port in the storm for me and was always there to help me out when I needed her. She was very proud of me and had to introduce me to all her friends at the nursing home weekly, even though she just did it the week before, she always wanted everyone to know who I was. I will miss my many visits to her, she always was so happy to have company and especially when I came with DQ stawberry sundae. She was a loving great and great great grandma and always looked forward to the grandchildren visiting. I will miss her dearly. I want to thank my mom for taking such good care of her all these years. Good bye gram, I love you. Patty
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My great grandmother always had a great sense of humor, was very creative, sharp witted and was always a joy to be around. She was one of those people who really seemed to enjoy life, so it's well deserved that she had a long one. I always looked forward to seeing her whenever I was in Indiana visiting my grandparents her son Eugene and daughter in law Eloise. I'll always admire her and will miss her a lot.

Grandma was Wonderful! She was always busy making something for someone else, including quilts for all her children and grandchildren. My Wife and I keep the quilt she made for me on our bed and we will be close to her memories every night. Larry Wineland Sr.
