I knew you fron the Hobart Arts League. You had such a bubbly personality. I remember when you were painting portraits of your niece and nephew. Rest in peace, dear Vera

I met Vera shortly after I got married and moved to Gary; we worked in the same building at U.S. Steel. We both had a passion for knitting; she took me to the best yarn shop in the area. That was the first of many shopping trips. As we became better friends, we included our husbands in our activities. We enjoyed their company. We loved Vera dearly and will miss her.
Beverley & Jim Topa left a message on March 21, 2014:
Vera and I were classmates at the Hobart Arts League for several years. She was always so upbeat and full of energy. We missed her bright smile, when she quit attending classes. I am certain, she is now painting the heavens.

My sister was the person responsible for giving me the opportunity to learn, perform, and teach tap dancing. She helped raise me and watched over me while growing up. She will be sadly missed.
