Vera Bakos

Vera Bakos nee Ulrych, age 79, of Crown Point, IN, who was born on March 5, 1930 has been reunited with her husband, Frank, in heaven on Sunday, January 31, 2010. She is there also with her mother, Natalie Ulrych. Vera lived for her children, Stephen Karen Bakos and Annie Dr. Paul Gianaris who will miss her forever. She loved her grandchildren, Michael Bakos and Nathan Marissa Gale. The latest joy to her life had been the addition of her great-granddaughter, Isabelle Rose Gale. Vera is also survived by her sister, Halina late Robert Wertz and various relatives in Europe. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Peter & Paul Church, 5885 Harrison St., Merrillville, IN, with Fr. Roy Beeching officiating. Services will conclude at the church private burial at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Bakos was a member of St. Peter & Paul Church in Merrillville, IN and was retired from Citizen?s Financial Services. Vera loved to travel and read. While heaven rejoices, her family will never forget her strength and will miss her wisdom. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Peter & Paul Church.
