Velva Kozlowski

Velva Kozlowski nee Palmonari, age 73, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Anthony Medical Center. She is survived by her sons: Chester David and Chester Mark Kozlowski; godson: Jonathan T. Marilyn Kozlowski; many nieces and nephews; sisters: Victoria Barney Bernacki and Jackie Stanley Wielgos; brother: John Palmonari. She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester and sister: Leona Palmonari. Velva was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and a devoted wife and mother. She was active in her children?s school functions and at her church; she also loved gardening, flowers and animals. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN, with Fr. Ed Tlucek officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre.
