Thelma Furlow nee Guynes, age 92, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Wittenberg Lutheran Village in Crown Point, IN. She is survived by her daughter: Maxie Bill Scott of Crown Point, IN; son: Hal late Barbara Furlow of Hobart, IN; grandson: Taylor Mary Furlow of Valparaiso, IN; 6 great-grandchildren: Thomas, Andrew, and Michael Furlow and Steven, Benjamin, and Tiffany Boo; sister: Hazel Cagle of Louisiana and brother: Charles Edna Earle Guynes of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold; parents: Andrew and Anna Guynes; brothers: Albert and A.M. Guynes, and sisters: Doris Stuart, Francis Vivrett, Hilda Guynes, and Daphne Boyd. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN, with John Starr officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point. Mrs. Furlow will be taken to Hazlehurst, MS for burial. Thelma was a member of Adventure Christian Church in Crown Point, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Wittenberg Lutheran Village in Crown Point, IN or Adventure Christian Church Building Fund.
