Thadeus Z. Glowiszyn

LT. COLONEL THAD Z. GLOWISZYN age 90 of South Haven formerly of LOFS passed away Monday April 3 2006. Survived by brother-in-law Ben (Sally) Stawicki of Katy TX 2 sisters-in-law Mary Margetich of San Pedro CA and Theresa Hiti of Alhambra CA nieces Delphine Denta of Portage Janet Darkins of Lawrenceville GA great niece Jamie (Dan) Peyton of South Haven great niece and nephew Sydney and Brandon Peyton many other nieces and nephews in Indiana Texas California and Georgia. Preceded in death by wife Cecelia (Stawicki) in 2004. Thad was a retired employee from U.S. Steel a member of PNA Lodge 912 a former member of St. Hedwig Church served in the 38th Infantry Division the Indiana State Guard the Internal Security Corps and was a retired Lt. Colonel in the Indiana Guard Reserve. He was instrumental in forming the first Indiana Guard and was the only living soldier to have served in all four categories of Indiana military and was a graduate of Emerson High School. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Wednesday 2-6 p.m. Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 6 2006 at 9:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine-Salvatorian Fathers Monastery (5755 Pennsylvania St.) with Rev.
