SUSAN HAMADY age 87 of Crown Point formerly of Gary passed away Thursday May 17 2007. Survived by four daughters: Patricia (Ronald) Smith of Crown Point Carole (late Nick) Wood of Merrillville Linda Howard-Stack of Hobart Janet Hac of Crown Point 11 grandchildren: Ronald Smith Jr. Sandra (Greg) McColly Paul Smith Damian (Willana) Wood Kara Wood Jamie (Ian) Irving Bryan (Christina) Howard Brandon Stack Taylor Stack Jason (Arciel) Hac Jaclyn Hac nine great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Paul sisters: Mary Hriso Ann Jablonski Agnes Morris. Susan was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and Rosary Sodality. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Sunday from 3-7 p.m. Prayer Service at 5:30 p.m.Funeral service will be Monday May 21 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 330 E. 45th Gary with Rev. Stephen Loncar officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville.

I remember my Grandma staying at our house to watch my brother and me when my mom went to work. She was a very loving and kind woman. I will miss her very much. I know she is happy in heaven with my Grandpa.

I never knew when grandma moved in seven in a half years ago that I would have to witness the pain and suffering that she had to go through herself until her last day. Nonetheless she made it through like any tough slovak woman would. She has made myself and my mother more stronger than we could have ever become. I will never forget her and will always remember the love she bestowed upon our family. Love you grandmama

My mother was a wonderful women. She will be greatly missed.

My Grandma was the strongest woman that I have ever meet. She was the sweetest woman at the end to. She is going to be missed alot by her family. I feel alot of comfort knowing that she is up there watching over all of her family.

I extend my deepest sympathies to my cousins and their families. Your mother was a wonderful kind-hearted person who set a great example of how one should live. Take comfort in knowing she loved all of you very much and appreciated the work dedication and care to her throughout the years. May her determination and resiliency be bestowed upon us.
