STEVE SALAZAR, Jr. age 64 of Crown Point, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Salazar; three sons: Eric (Ashley) Salazar, Christopher Salazar, Steven Salazar; four brothers: Abe Vasquez, David Robles, Michael Salazar, Manuel Salazar; three sisters: Susann Marx, Vikki Mackowiak, Cynthia O’Malley; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother Rosaura and father Steve Sr. Steve was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. He was a retired elevator mechanic with International Union of Elevator Constructors Local #2 in Chicago. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and a graduate of Bowen High School in Chicago. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point (on St. Rd. 55 south of St. Rd 231) on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 DIRECTLY from St. Matthias Catholic Church, 101 W. Burrell Dr., Crown Point with Rev. Joseph Kelchak officiating. There will be one hour of visitation at church prior to mass.
