STEPHANIE (nee Bruszewski) SETLAK age 95 of Merrillville formerly Portage IN passed away on Thursday March 5 2009. She was born August 10 1913 in Van Lear Kentucky to Alexander and Boleslawa Bruszewski. She married Alexander Setlak on June 9 1934 who died on February 1 1995. She is survived by one son Raymond (Judy) Setlak two daughters: Alberta (Rudy) Doege and Marguerite Duffy son-in-law James Schmidt ten grandchildren 17 great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by four brothers three sisters daughters Grace Setlak Patricia Schmidt one grandson Dean Schmidt. Stephanie was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and ARCS Senior Club. She was a former member of Holy Family Church and Womens Auxiliary Madame Curie Circle PNA Lodge 3134 and was past president of Daughters of Isabella Bishop Noll Circle 359. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Sunday March 8 2009 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Madame Curie service at 3:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Funeral service will be Monday March 9 2009 at 11:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 12 Noon from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 200 E. 78th Ave. Merrillville IN with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. At rest Calvary Cemetery Portage.
