The Cappony Family, I consider myself foruntate to possess a great number of memories of Spiro. From the early days on the 49th Avenue picnic grounds, through many Grecian Festivals during the '70's and '80's, Spiro was always an excellent role model for service to our church. I was selected to be Festival Chairman in 1979. Following Spiro's achievement the previous year would be very difficult, but Spiro provided all the help and guidance required to ensure success. Spiro also encouraged me to seek election to the Church Council and then appointed me to the executive council the following term. Once again, his guidance and advice made that a very memorable experience. Mary and I extend our deepest sympathies for your loss. I will miss Spiro. May his memory be eternal

I was so sorry to hear of Spiro's passing. He was someone that my generation looked up to and we are all much better for knowing him. He always had time for us. His memory and legacy will live on and I will never forget the many times I had the pleasure of being around him, especially when we were all doing something for our Church which he loved so dearly. Thank you Spiro, May God Bless your soul and may your memory be eternal.
