SAM LASHENIK age 90 of Hobart passed away Tuesday May 9 2006. Survived by 3 children: Rosemary (Dan) Polizzotto of South Bend Thomas (Rosalyn) Lashenik of Hobart Bill (Andrea) Lashenik of Hobart 8 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife Mary son Sam Lashenik 2 brothers: John and Steve Lashenik 2 sisters: Mary Bonomo and Ann Lashenik. Sam was a Gold Card Member of Gary Sportsmen Club a member of Duck Creek Golf Course and a retired Captain from the Gary Fire Dept. with 20 years of service. He was an avid golfer and was Gary City Champ and Lake and Porter County Golf Champion. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville 2-8 Thursday. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday May 12 2006 from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville.
