Bob & Dorothy Baines left a message on January 4, 2010:
Bob & I are so very, very sorry we couldn't be there for visitation or for the funeral, due to the bad weather & road conditions, plus strong advice from our daughter who always worries about us. Someone is finally coming later this afternoon to plow out our (steep) driveway. My twin (Doris, now deceased) & I were close friends with Ruth from 3rd grade on thru adulthood.....of course Charlotte, Florence & Susan would remember way back. We were like sisters. Words can't express how I'm going to miss her, but the assurance that she is at peace in eternity is very comforting. I'm sure it is for you all too. She was always so proud of her family! I remember Doris & I were jealous because she became an "Aunt" before we did. ha! I believe it was Jennifer or was it Darrell? I've looked at the beautiful slide presentation on my computer several times and will continue. Such happy precious memories. Our love and prayers, Dorothy & Bob Baines

I'll miss you forever, you were my best friend. You always gave more than you got. You were always kind and forgiving. We were friends since we were young girls. Sincerely, Lila Abraham-Ivey

I was sorry to read of Ruth's passing. I worked with her in the past at Tonn & Blank, Inc. Since my moving out here to Utah we kept in touch via e-mail - I will miss her cute stories.
Dennis and Carol Cox left a message on December 30, 2009:
We wish to express our sincere condolences to Ruth's family. We had only known Ruth for a couple years, but always enjoyed our chats together. We didn't realize Emma Jean was her sister-in-law or that Sandy Cipares was her niece! Now I'm wondering what has happened to her dear little dog, Molly. Again, we extend our sympathy. May Ruth rest in peace. Sincerely, Dennis and Carol cox
