She supported her husband in his career, camping, Boy Scouts, and musical endeavors. and was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Room Mother. She was active in various activities at St. Paul Lutheran Church, including Women of the Church (WELCA), Quilting Group, Homebound Communion, and Harmony Circle. Ruth and Conrad also delivered Meals on Wheels for 25 years. Her children and grandchildren fondly recall how she always made their favorite dish at our family holiday meals.
Surviving are her three children: Roger (Carol) Lubs of Rockford, MI, Lori (Pastor Dale) Zylstra of Michigan City and Dr. David (Beverly) Lubs of Fort Wayne, IN. Also surviving are grandchildren: Philip, Benjamin (Shannon), Katye, Daniel, Michael (Beth) and Jenna Lubs, Adam (Tiffany) and Jacob (Daniella) Pakuszewski, Melanie (Christian) Watson, and Nicholas Lubs; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Emerson and Carter.
