Roy Dean Long age 63 of Portage, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Porter Hospital in Portage, Indiana. He is survived by Kathy Long 2 Daughters: Lesia Long of Harrisburg, IL Regina Jacob Smalley of Lillington, NC 2 Sons: James Donna of Harrisburg, IL Larry Jenn Long of Portage Brother: Robert Long of Hobart 2 Sisters: Patricia Reeder of Harrisburg, IL Linda Wantroba of Hebron 4 Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces and Nephews and Dear Friends Preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Long Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home 624 N. Main St. Hebron, IN with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2009 at Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron, IN from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Roy was born on November 9, 1945 in Gary, Indiana to Rebah and Chris Long. He enjoyed singing, playing Guitar and songwriting. Roy was a gifted handyman. I miss you so much Roy. I think of you often and the good times we had singing together. Now your in heaven singing with mom and Larry, your nephew/ namesake Roy Robert, and your niece Kathy Jo. Your a great grandpa now of an adorable little boy. I think about you often and I listen to you playing the guitar and singing the song we wrote together. I love you my big brother.
