 Roy A. Murray, age 75, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Trail Creek, IN. Roy was
born in Michigan City on March 23, 1945 to Oral and Alice Murray.
Roy is survived by children: Allen A. (Sarah) Murray of Trail Creek and Erica Murray of
Michigan City; grandchildren: Allen R. (Morgan) Murray, Sonja Murray, and Gavin Sigle;
sister: Melissa Brewer and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Alice and siblings Jay, Mike, Anne, Lucinda,
Timothy, and Bruce.
Roy was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from U.S. Steel as a power plant operator.
He was an avid reader and movie fanatic. Roy loved working outside. He was a talented
craftsman and painter and enjoyed working with his hands. Roy will be missed by all who knew
him.
Arrangements for Roy have been entrusted to Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington
St., Michigan City, IN 46360. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Roy’s life will take
place at a later date.
