Roxann Nickerson

February 22, 1952 - April 28, 2020

Roxann Nickerson, age 68, of Rantoul, IL and formerly Michigan City, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Paxton, IL.

She was born on February 22, 1952 in South Bend, IN to Eugene and Nona (Chandonia) Nickerson who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by Edward A. Nagy, former husband.

Roxann is survived by her children: Violet S. (Troy) Wheat, Raymond L. (Sonya) Nagy, Robert A. Nagy; six grandchildren: Andrew, Raymond, Kaleb, Zachariah, Lily and Michael; sisters: Linda Bratton and Janice Chapman; brothers: Charles and Eugene Nickerson. She will be missed by all of her nieces and nephews.

Roxann loved to cross-stitch and play Bingo. She was a member of the Women of the Moose #935. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Great memories as my best friend in junior high. I would go to her house when she lived in The Pines. By chance I was thinking about her this week. Condolences to her family.

I love you mom. You are free from pain and suffering; you are resting peaceful in God's hands with my dad, grandma and grandpa. I will miss our weekly visits and drinking our pepsi's together.
