Rosemary C. Jones (nee Vitalone), age 86, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Rosemary is survived by her children: Rose Marie (Shannon) Jones-Smith, Tony (Kerry) Jones; grandchildren: Rhiannon, Daniel, Shana, Taylor (Filip), Brenna, Alexis (Kyler), John, Anna; great-grandchildren: Shianne, Caleb, Aubrey, Jordan, Noah, Christian, Elias, Jaxson, Ellie, Liam, Hendrix; brothers: Frank Jr. (Ellen), Tommy (Linda); sisters: Dorothy (late Eugene) Marsalek, Pam Vitalone; and brother-in-law, James Krampen.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Hubinger; parents: Rose and Frank Vitalone; sister, Barbara Krampen; granddaughters: Angela Carrier and Morgan Brant; and niece, Amy Trathen.

Rosemary retired from Ford Motor Credit after 32 years of service. She was a woman of faith. Her belief in the goodness of people, and the beauty of life was unshakeable.  She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and laughing with friends.

Rosemary had a vivacious personality, radiating warmth and effervescent laughter to everyone who encountered her.  She was also fiercely devoted to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was generous with her time and had no hesitation in lending a helping hand to those in need. Her home was continuously open to anyone who needed a warm meal or a place to stay.

Rosemary was genuine and passionate about making the lives of those who sought her out, a life full of hope, love, and purpose.  She was a living example of these bible verses.  “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13 and “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you.”  Ephesians 4:32

Rosemary will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Living Stones Church, 909 Pratt St, Crown Point, IN 46307 with Pastor Dick Bashta officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
