Rose Marie Bucha, 93, Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on March 19, 2010, at the Kansas City Hospice House, KCMO. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Barney A. Bucha; and her brother, Ted Arch. She is survived by her three daughters: Bonnie Werner Larry of IL, Barbara Seymour Don of KS, and Mary Lou Nance Mel of IN; her grandchildren: Kelly Behrends Jon, Scott Seymour Karen, Marchelle Djordjevic Mark, Kris Seymour Angie, Heather Nance, Jessica Rose Nance, Ericka Nance, and First Lieutenant John Nance; and her great grandchildren: Tyne, Tait, Trinity, and Flint Seymour, and Holly Behrends. Rose was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and was a compassionate, loving friend and person. She was a lifelong auxiliary member of the VFW, and was a member of the Church of the Nativity. Rose touched so many lives and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Mass will be held on July 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 11301 W. 93rd Ave. St. John, IN, with Fr. Campion Baer officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 AM at the church. Inurnment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rose's name may be made to KC Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., KCMO 64145.
