Rose Kasprzak

Rose Kasprzak age 93 of Portage formerly of Merrillville and East Chicago IN passed away peacefully on Friday May 14 2010. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Susan (Lloyd Bud) Hipp of Portage one son Thomas (Carole) Kasprzak of Highland. Seven grandchildren: Laura Hipp of Hobart Timothy Hipp Steven (Veronica) Hipp Scott (Brenda) Hipp all of Crown Point Sandra (Robert) Harreld of Marengo IL Rebecca Kasprzak and Melissa (fiancee Donny DeRidder both of Highland. Six great grandchildren: Taylor and Austin Clifford of Hobart Jessica and Gregory Harreld of Marengo IL Cody and Casey Hipp of Crown Point. Preceded in death by her husband Frank Blackiegrandson Ricky Hipp brother John Studzinski sister Helen Jarmusz. Rose was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Mom was an avid fisherman and spent many summers fishing in Minong Wisconsin on the flowage. She was a former member of Harvest House and she retired from Sears Roebuk Company River Oaks with 15 years of service. Funeral services will be Monday May 17 2010 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (801 W. 73rd Ave. Merrillville) with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating.
