Ron was always a loving cousin to me and my sister Kae and considered us like sisters. We became close to him when he was stationed at the Marine Base, El Toro, in Southern CA near our home, which he visited on the weekends to see his Uncle Carl and Aunt Alyce. He sang "Playmates" in their wedding when he was three years old. We were so afraid we were going to lose him when he was in a coma for three weeks after contacting a terrible disease while on Marine duty in Thousand Palms. Thankfully he came out of the coma and lived a long life, having four children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that are nothing less than living miracles! My heart is heavy to lose him for now, but also very full of thankfulness for all the times we shared together. Love and peace to everyone in his family, Cousin Becky

Ron was always a wonderful neighbor and friend to my mother. They shared the same birthday, and how she enjoyed celebrating their birthday with Ron and Joanne. My deepest condolences go out to the family. May the wonderful memories of Ron’s life and laughter that you shared bring you peace.

The incredible, deep voice has been silenced!  Oh, how I enjoyed singing with you Ron, (and Joann).   We were both married Sept 11, 1976, another bond broken....RIP my friend.  I hope you are singing with the angels.  You deserve your wings....
