ROBERT “BOB” BECKER, age 88, a lifelong Crown Point resident, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014. Survived by son Scott (Teresa) Becker of Columbus, IN, daughter Lisa (Rick) Anderson of Winfield; four grandchildren: Chloe & Connor Anderson, Elizabeth & Ava Becker; brother Richard (Marge) Becker of Crown Point. Preceded in death by wife Margaret. Mr. Becker was a life member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Crown Point. Bob was a graduate of Crown Point High School, Class of 1944, A World War II Army veteran, and a life member of American Legion Post #20. He was a retired Letter Carrier from the U.S. Post Office with 42 years of service in Crown Point. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service (811 East Franciscan Dr., Crown Point) on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. with a Legion service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (250 S. Indiana Ave., Crown Point) with Rev. David Easterday officiating. There will be visitation at church one half hour prior to services. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
