Robert “Bob” D. Hubbell , age 74, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. He is survived by 3 children: Bob Christine Hubbell of Lake Zurich, IL, Sheri Hubbell of Terre Haute, IN, and Tracy Mike Kenney of Valparaiso, IN; 4 grandchildren: Chelsea Hubbell, Riley Kenney, Brienne Kenney, and Bobby “R.J.” Hubbell; 1 great-granddaughter: Mallory Hubbell; 1 sister: Mary Lou Chester Hattabaugh of Spring Hill, FL; loving companion: Pam Pittman and best friend: Judy Hubbell. He is preceded in death by parents: Dail and Mildred Hubbell; son: B.B. Hubbell and brother: Fred Shrake. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN, with Rev. Joan Mier officiating. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, Merrillville, IN. Bob was a supervisor for Wyeth Company, a member of Hobart Post 54 Sons of the American Legion, and a member of the DeSoto and Shay Auto Clubs. Bob loved collecting and working on old cars and liked going to flea markets.
