Robert Couter, age 23, of Michigan City, died Monday, April 26 at 12:20 p.m. at St. Anthony Memorial, Michigan City. The service will be held Saturday, May 1 at 12:00 noon at Faith City Assembly of God, with Pastor Bill Barnes officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at the church. He was born October 6, 1986 in Michigan City to Richard and Dana (Craig) Mullenhour, they survive in LaPorte. Also surviving are his brothers Robert (Jamie) Mullenhour of Michigan City, Richard Mullenhour of Monroe, WI, maternal grandfather Franklin D. Craig of Michigan City and paternal grandmother Ruth Mullenhour of Ft. Wayne, nieces Lillian Couter of Michigan City and Noelle Mullenhour of Elkhart and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Norene Craig, and brother Christopher Couter. He was a 2006 Michigan City High School graduate. Robert was devoted to his church. He was involved at Faith City Assembly of God and was active in the basics ministry, food pantry, the “tech team”, drama team, children’s ministry, and college ministry. He also volunteered for most any task for his church and family. He was active in local music circles. He also had a passion for fishing and camping. He was a loyal and loving friend to all he knew.
