Rita “Annie” Belstra (nee Bailey) passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Rita was born in Demotte, IN on June 18, 1933 to Arnold and Ethel Bailey (nee Odle).
On June 23, 1951, Rita married Eugene “Gene” Belstra. He preceded her in death of September 1979.
Rita is survived by her two sons: Mitch (Vicki) Belstra, Kerry Belstra; two daughters: Jody (Roger) Huhn, Heidi (Gary) Conley; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Rita was preceded in death by her daughters: Christy Hoffman, Connie Bailey; grandson, Jeremy Hoffman; her parents; and six siblings.
Rita was a much loved mom and gramma who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, tending to her flower gardens, and spending time outside.
Memorials may be made to Haven Hospice in Demotte or the Demotte Public Library.
