Rita Kwiatkowski (nee Soldano), age 91, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.
Rita is survived by her, daughter, Susan (Mark Ruthkay) Riley; daughter-in-law, Kathy Kwiatkowski; and grandson, Frank Kwiatkowski.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Kwiatkowski; sons: Mark Kwiatkowski and Theodore J. Kwiatkowski Jr.; parents: Frank and Adaline Soldano; and sister, Josephine Moeller.
Rita retired from JC Penney Furniture Sales with over 20 years of service. She enjoyed taking trips to Bass Lake, bowling, and making crafts. Her and her husband were members of St. Mary Catholic Church. Rita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn in Schererville, IN.
