As one of his caregivers, I am missing my visits with Richard and Laura. We shared many stories and laughs. I will miss Richard’s smile and sense of humor. He and Laura were meant for one another and have a wonderful family. I’m so blessed to have met Richard and Laura and be a part of their family for a short time. Their love and support for one another is an inspiration for all families. Richard is/was ‘one of a kind’ and I will miss him. My condolences to his family who love him dearly. You are blessed to have wonderful memories to share.

Terry D. Thompson left a message on October 31, 2022:
I never meet Richard, but I meet him through the eyes of one of his care givers. She told me wonderful stories about his life in the service and then out in the civilian world, but most of all his marvelous sense of humor. He was fortunate enough to find a beautiful wife to send his life with. It sounded like he had a "Great" life. He was truly a lucky man.
Peter urphy left a message on October 31, 2022:
My family grew up with Dick, Laura and their daughters in Sauk Village. I remember him as an energetic, humorous and generous man. Dick always smiled and brought his infectious love of life to those around him. Often telling a joke or playing basketball with us in the driveway, he never sat the sidelines whenever a pick-up game was going on. We saw him often at holidays and summer parties. A spark, a laugh and hours of joy. We shall miss him very much.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
