RICHARD F. HABER, age 73 of Crown Point, passed away Thursday April 11, 2013. He is survived by wife: Judith of 47 years; daughter: Natalie (Patrick) Haber-Barker of Demotte; grandson: Grant Barker; brother: Dennis (Sharon) Haber of Crown Point; sister: Donna (late Neil) Sullivan of Chesterton; sister-in-law; Donna Brown Russell of Crown Point; two nieces: Wendy Haber, Trisha (Chris) Pool; two nephews: Rick (Susan) Haber, Brian David Sullivan. Preceded in death by parents: Don and Elizabeth Haber. Rich was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Crown Point. He was a gold card member of the Gary Sportsmen Club. He was a graduate of Gary Edison High School, class of 1957. He was a retired Gary Policeman with 20 years of service, and an investigator for Adult Protective Services for the Lake County Prosecutors office. He was an avid golfer and sports fan, especially cheering on IU basketball. Rich was a Coast Guard Veteran. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Servcice, 811 E.
