Rev. Clyde M. Allison

REV. CLYDE M. ALLISON age 91 of Lowell formerly of Chicago passed away Saturday April 11 2009. Survived by wife Mary Emma of 64 years 3 children: Mary Jean (Dr. Cameron) Thomson of Riverwoods IL Mickey Allison of Cedar Lake & Monroe (Diane) Allison of New York 4 grandchildren: Brian Thomson Allison (Marshall) Ward Jessica (Djillali Belabbes) Allison & Paul Allison 4 great-grandchildren: Douglas Christopher Aicha Emma Nour brother David (Jessie) Allison of CA and sister Lois Gruber of UT. Rev. Allison was a retired Presbyterian Pastor having served at Bridesburg PA and Emerald Ave. Presbyterian Church in Chicago and was a supply Pastor at Crown Point & Range Line Presbyterian Church. From 1946-1951 he was the editor of the Junior High Sunday School Curriculum. In 1950 he started what became known as the Trick-or-Treatfor UNICEF which has raised 10s of millions of dollars. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Pruzin & Little Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
