RAY B. “Pap-Paw” DEAN, JR. age 82 of Portage, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. Survived by two daughters: Stephanie (late Mike) Ziulkowski, Jennifer (Mike) Sobek; six grandchildren: Michael (Danielle) Ziulkowski II, Nathan (Becca) Ziulkowski, Liddy Ziulkowski, Gabby Ziulkowski, Jacob and Joshua Sobek; two sisters: Virginia (Bo) Beverley, Shirley (Richard) Taylor; many loving and cherished nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Theresa Dean; son, Ray Dean III; parents, Ray Sr. and Golda Dean. Ray was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church. He was a member of American Legion Post #260. Ray was a lithographer for 30 years. He was a gentle soul with a spit-fire spirit who was a perfectionist with a great sense of humor. “Pap-Paw” enjoyed tinkering outside and spending time with his grandchildren.
