Raquel Arce

Raquel Arce age 78 of Merrillville formerly of Gary passed away Saturday April 24 2010. She is survived by her 7 children: two daughters Rosa (Henry) Hinojosa of Texas and Leticia (James) Zimmer of Hobart six sons Jesus (Susan) Jr. of Merrillville Arturo of Merrillville Martin (Dana) of Crown Point Ernesto (Gerri) of Merrillville Aaron Arce of Merrillville and Alex Arce of Merrillville. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two brothers Humberto (Late Carmella) DeLeon of Mexico Efrain (Lupe) DeLeon of Mexico and special niece Gloria (Roberto) Gonzalez. Preceded in death by husband Jesus son Gerardo daughter Sylvia Costello parents Javier and Maria Malacara-DeLeon brother Antonio DeLeon and sister Amparo DeLeon. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and a retired cook for Acapulco Restaurant East Chicago. She was a loving mother and grandmother to all her children and grandchildren. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. with a prayer service. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 29 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 A.M. from St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (5885 Harrison Street. Merrillville) with Rev.
