Phyllis V. Ausenbaugh

PHYLLIS VICTORIA AUSENBAUGH age 82 of Merrillville passed away Sunday May 31 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years James three sons: Theodore (Anita) Kolivas of Hammond Richard Ausenbaugh of FL Phillip Ausenbaugh of IL daughter Patricia (Ernie) Wiggers of TN niece Phyllis Ann Dunajski grandchildren: Christopher Sara Julia Ashley Angel Jimmy and Tammy longtime friend Thomas Thiakos. Preceded in death by her parents Victoria and Phillip Kulisz sister Anna K. Zimmerman son Jimmy Kolivas nephew Phillip Alan Boulds. Phyllis was a longtime active member of Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church and a member of many clubs throughout her life. She served as an officer in PNA Lodge 912 Council 127 Polish Army Veterans Post 12 and Polish Democratic Club. She was the recipient of the Heritage Award from the Indiana Polish National Congress for her volunteer work. She had been an active member of the Washington Club Lake County Extension Homemakers. Phyllis was a graduate of Froebel High School. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. PNA combined service at 4:30 p.m. Prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday June 5 2009 DIRECTLY at Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church 269 W. 57th Ave. Merrillville with Rev. Edward Meus officiating. Cremation will preceed all services.
