Last weeks sermon at church was entitled Can God be trusted? based on Proverbs 3 :5-6. Todays sermon was I JOHN 4:16-19 the assurance we have that God is love that He loves us and we love Him becuae He first loved us. We along with many of our friends here in Va. are praying for you...that you will know the love presence and comfort of God as never before. Yes God can can be trusted even with the passing of Peter. As much as we love you Peter and Annette God loves you more than that. Our hearts break with you as you once again grieve the loss of a child.

Margaret Andre left a message on February 20, 2008:
Peter was a good Christian young man. He was fun-loving brave humble and had a wonderful gift of caring from his Heavenly Father. Because of his suffering and his compassion for people it seems that his mission on earth was to help people any way he could. Peter had many friends who stood by him and prayed while he underwent cancer treatments. He decided to study nursing after his battles with cancer. Peter would have been a wonderful nurse. While in school he lived in a rough neighborhood. He made friends with the down-trodden young men in his area and became a care-giver to those who were lost. They came from homes where they were neglected none with faith in God and so needy in many ways. He became a foster parent to help make them stable honest decent young men. Some became Christians and all were helped. What he taught them(I consider planting seeds) may surface throughout their lives and be of aid at a time when they most need Gods love. There were many kindnesses that not even his parents were aware of. When neighbors couldnt pay their rent Peter paid it for them. While it is very difficult to say goodbye I feel that Peter has gone to heaven to live with his Savior his familyand his younger brother Tommy. My final thought is that his Heavenly Father had a mission for Peter which he completed so willingly and so well. We all love him and cherish is memory. Love Grandma Andre

I was fortunate enough to live on the same wing with Pete at Taylor University and have fond memories of both serious and goofy times with him that I will always remember. Pete was a wonderful person and I look forward to the time when I can talk and laugh with him again.

He just handed it to told me to take time for myself to read it gave me a hug and walked away. I am so sorry for you loss he was a fine young man. Barb
