PETER N. BERES, II, age 32 of Crown Point, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
He is survived by his parents, Peter and Holly Beres; brother, Michael (Allison Nowak) Beres; nephew, Odin Michael Beres, and Caleb Granno, the son of Allison Nowak; Godmother, Marlene Zloza; Godfather, Donald D. Eruntz, Jr. Preceded in death by grandparents, Peter and Bernice Beres, and Laverne and Dorothy Swift.
Peter was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Crown Point. He was an Eagle Scout, a graduate of St. Mary’s Grade School, and Andrean High School, Class of 2003. Peter was an Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55), Crown Point, on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral service will be Monday, May 1, 2017 with prayers at Pruzin & Little Chapel at 9:30 am. and funeral mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point at 10:00 am. with Rev. Pat Kalich officiating. Services to conclude at church with cremation to follow.
