PAUL PATTON age 75 of Valparaiso formerly of Crown Point passed away Wednesday March 28 2012. He is survived by wife: Linda of 30 years six children: Paul Patton of Cedar Lake Debra (Leon) Stringer of Alabama Randall (Vicky) Patton of Cedar Lake Beth (Steve) Bjerke of Arizona Tracy (Chris) Skrivan of Valparaiso Tina Rongers of Valparaiso ten grandchildren three great grandchildren sister: Ruby Powell of Griffith brother: James (Abby) Patton of Valparaiso. Preceded in death by parents: Paul O. and Nona Patton. Paul was a retired Lake County Policeman with twenty years of service and a retired security officer at St. Anthony Medical Center with nineteen years of service. He was a former superintendent for security for the Lake County Fair for seventeen years. Paul was the former owner of Charlarose Lake and Campground and a former Lake County farmer. He was a graduate of Merrillville High School class of 1956. He was a member of FOP Chris Anton Lodge #125 and served in the National Guard. Paul was a member of American Legion Post #430. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Friday March 30 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday March 31 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Pastor Randy Forsythe officiating. At rest Calvary Cemetery Portage.
