Paul Keck, age 81, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Marcia Martin Smith of Kankakee, IL, Pauline Keck Eldon Strong of Crown Point, IN, Robert Alice Goff Keck of Monticello, IN, Thomas Tammy Keck of Lowell, IN, Bethann Keck of Crown Point, IN and David Keck Josie Lucas of Crown Point, IN; sisters, Hazel Shelton of Hermitage, MO and Edith Vitoux of Wanatah, IN; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Etta Keck; brother, Charles, sisters, Lola and Ethel; daughter-in-law, Dixie and granddaughter, Marleen. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION ? 2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN with Pastor Thomas Shanahan officiating. Interment at Salem Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre. Mr. Keck was retired from U.S. Steel and Inovative Energy. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Crown Point Aerie #2659 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #260 of Crown Point.
