Patrick S. Jensen, age 50, of Kouts, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Patrick was employed by J. V. Crane & Engineering in Hobart. He was an avid fisherman and loved music. Pat also played in the band “Scary Neighbors”. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emily Jensen; brother, Robert Jensen, Jr. Patrick is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons: David & Derek Jensen; 2 sisters; Gail Sam Markovich and Allison Jensen both of O'Fallon, MO, brother; Thomas Chris Jensen of Minonk, IL, many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, with Fr. Joseph E. Vamos officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
