July 9, 1947 - November 12, 2009

Patricia J. Meyer, age 62 of Hebron, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Peter; 2 sons: Tim Kim Meyer of Kouts, IN and Ken Karen Meyer of Hebron, IN; 5 grandchildren: Justin, David, James, Derek and Jonathan Meyer; sister-in-law, Carol Durkin; and several nieces & nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jack” Durkin and sister, Joan Long. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN with Rev. Roy Beeching officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, November 16th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Patricia was an X-Ray Transcriptionist at St. Anthony Hospital in Crown Point, IN. She loved gardening, playing bingo, going on cruises and sharing time with her grandchildren. Pete, Tim and Kenny, You know that Pat and I have known each other since we were 10, and she has been my friend longer than anyone I know. We did a few wacky things together when we were young--like going to Vail, CO together one winter, even though neither one of us had ever been on skis. She will always have a special place in my heart. Linda Moore
