Patricia C. Morse (nee Brafman), age 75, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Patricia is survived by her children: Curtis Morse, Emily (Pedro) Briseno; grandchildren: Cecelia Estelle, Evangeline Patricia, Peter Parker; brother, Lawrence Brafman; sisters: Mary Hamblin, Teena (Kent) Klauer, Liz Brafman; nieces and nephews: Gregory (Alicia) Podlin, Matthew Podlin, Benjamin (Raena) Hamblin, Jeffrey (Lisa) Hamblin, Teresa (Kory) Mattoon, Laura Klauer, Sarah Klauer, April (Kelby) Lanning; and special friends: Anita Freeland and Connie Grah.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents: Estelle and Thaddeus Brafman; brother, Arthur Brafman; sister, Audrey Podlin; other relatives: June Brafman, Tim Hamblin, Jerry Podlin.
Patricia came from a big family and always wanted to have a big family of her own. Her first love was her family and always put her family first above her own needs. She loved having family over to visit. Summertime family reunions were always something to look forward to for her. She loved her grandchildren and always looked forward to seeing them.
She loved to cook and bake, especially for the holidays.
Decorating her home for the holidays was also a favorite time for her. You would find her sitting in her living room with the house lights off and all the Christmas lights on watching Christmas Vacation and just laughing.
Patricia was a sports fanatic. She loved college football. Notre Dame and her Iowa Hawkeyes were her favorites.
If there was a good football game on TV you would find her glued to the television watching the game.
She loved the Chicago Bears. Even though she knew that they would almost always lose.
She had a great sense of humor and always a positive outlook, even thru some of her darkest times she would smile thru the pain.
She was loved just as much by her family as the love she gave to them. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Private services will be held for Patricia’s family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
