ODIE C. STUTTS, age 91 of DeMotte; formerly of Crown Point, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018.
He is survived by his wife Peggy of over 65 years; three daughters: Gale (John) Bean, Brenda (Terry) Hodges, Marie (Bradley) Moody; five grandchildren: Darrell (Jen) Vinson, Chris Bean, Tim (Jess) Bean, Mary (Paul) Owen, Jacob (Brandi) Hodges; nine great-grandchildren; sisters: Katherine Davis and Rosemary Reeves. Preceded in death by brothers Maurice and Norman Stutts; sisters: Gladys Wimberley and Carolyn Ann Stutts.
Mr. Stutts was a member of First Baptist Church of Roselawn and a former member of First Baptist Church of Cedar Lake. He was a retired steel worker from LTV Steel with 32 years of service. Odie was a World War II veteran. He loved tending to his gardens and fishing when he could.
Family and friends may gather at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service (811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point) on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Rev. David Nykamp officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
