NICK F. BELLA, age 95 of Crown Point; formerly of Merrillville, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017.
He is survived by two sons, Nick (Jane) Bella and Rick (Jodi) Bella; two granddaughters, Cindy Flood and Toni Jo Bella; great granddaughter, Addison Flood. Preceded in death by wives, Elsie and Kay Bella; two brothers, Fosty and Frank Bella; four sisters: Mary Perotta, Antonette Novello, Fannie Marino, and Mae Bella.
Nick was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Ryder Council #4047, CFU Lodge #170, and retirees Keenagers at LOFS. He was a retired produce supervisor at Scotlad Foods and Wiseway, and was a manger at Gary Fruit Co. Nick graduated from Froebel High School.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 pm. Prayer service at 4:30 pm and a K of C Rosary at 6:30 pm. Funeral prayers will be held Thursday, April 6, 2016 at 9:30 am. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am. from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (5885 Harrison St., Merrillville) with Rev. Jon Plavcan officiating. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Wittenberg Lutheran Village.
