Nicholas J. Maryonovich, age 82, of Gary, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus. He was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Merrillville, IN, a member of the Crown Point Masonic Lodge #157 F & AM and was a retired Ironworker from Local #395 in Hammond, IN. Nicholas was preceded in death by his wife: Jeanette Ferguson Maryonovich. He is survived by his daughters: Delores Jamski of Portage and Diane John Gielniak Wargo of Crown Point; son: Dennis Paula Ferguson of Arizona; grandson: Shane Gamez; numerous other grand, great, and great-great grandchildren; sister: Clara Uzelac, and brother: Ted Maryonovich of Florida. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN, with Rev. Fr. Marko Matic officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Masonic service at 7:00 PM.
