MILDRED ERLER (nee Heidenreich) age 91 of Merrillville passed away Sunday April 20 2008 at her home in Village Green Active Senior Living (formerly Towne Square). Survived by two daughters: Cheryll (Patrick) Patterson of Columbia City IN &amp Margaret Peggy(Axelher son-by-law) Bergum of Cedar Lake 6 grandchildren: Maggie Bergum of Hammond Jody Bergum of Chicago Kurt Ryan Nathan &amp Forest Patterson 2 great-grandchildren: Andrew Staples &amp Emma Padilla sister-in-law Elaine (Jack) Booher of Reno NV and nieces nephews &amp cousins. Preceded in death by husband Victor parents James &amp Emily Heidenreich 3 sisters: Anna Farrell Mamie Burda &amp Emma Siedelmann. Mrs. Erler was born on June 23 1916 in Chicago. She was a graduate of Morton High School Class on 1933. Mildred was united in marriage to Victor H. Erler on October 17 1943. She owned &amp operated Millies Beauty Salon at 4th &amp Tyler St. in Gary and she just loved to sing aloud. Mildreds last years with Alzheimers were greatly eased by her loving caretakers: Linda Joyce Karla Ashley Kristen Miranda Madison Brandon Jayden Maggie Emma Andrew &amp Jody Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 24 2008 at 11:30 A.M. from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Gember officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. In lieu of flowers memorial preferred to Alzheimers Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17 Chicago IL 60601.
