MEHILO KESELEY, age 81 of Ogden Dunes, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013. He is survived by his children: Louis (Diane) Keseley of Crown Point, Kirsten Keseley of Porter; his grandchild, Dylan Mehilo Keseley. Preceded in death by his wife, Marie Keseley. He was a devoted and caring husband of over 51 years and a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his great love for family and friends, Mehilo will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his wonderful generosity. Mehilo was the former owner of Mehilo’s Pub in East Chicago for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mehilo was a former school teacher at Tolleston High School. He was a graduate of East Chicago Washington High School. He received his BS degree from Purdue University and played football there. He received his Master’s degree from Indiana University. Family and friends are invited to meet with the family at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will follow promptly at 7:00 p.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthur B. & Ethel V. Horton VNA Hospice Center.
